![]() I've encountered an issue with my Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000 webcam on Windows 7 64-bit. If I reboot without the camera connected, everything functions properly until I connect it and attempt to adjust audio settings in Windows or the LWS panel. However, if I reboot with the camera still connected, the system becomes unstable from the start. I'm unable to open the Playback/Recording devices window, and the system slows down significantly due to the LWS.EXE process being unresponsive and unable to be force-closed. As a result, LWS freezes, preventing any audio output. Upon installing the latest official Logitech driver, the camera works fine initially, but problems arise when I access audio settings in the LWS panel or Windows. On the other hand, if I use the Windows Update drivers instead of the Logitech ones, the camera functions with a low frame rate and lacks face tracking features, among others. I'm experiencing these issues while trying to install my Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000 webcam on Windows 7 64-bit.
